They feel rudderless as a group, and a big part of that is Dan's move to the east coast. Dan was the person trying new things and consistantly pumping out the best new content (think Metal Gear Scanlon, Mario Party Party, etc). On the west coast he had a lot of people he could play off of, but the east coast crew seems less inclined to play ball. It doesn't help that Abby is by far the worst person ever on the website. I have a hunch that she single handedly killed the GotY format with her shrieking banshee voice, inability to recognize shes the only person in the room that plays the garbage "games" she's constantly championing, and I suspect pulled the "I'm a girl and I'm being DISCRIMINATED" card. --- "Like Darth Maul, the bastard child of Michael Flatley and hellboy" - trancer1 lol xstats |

It just seems like if they really think something of that nature needs to be done it could be without them all in the same room at some other time, but really i'd just say all the top 10 lists on the site do a much better job of reviewing the year of games than the podcasts even do.Lots of people have jobs that require you to travel. These guys travel 2-3 times a year max for work, I think they can take the extra time to put out quality content at Christmas. If this is what i can expect moving forward, in addition to a bunch of other premium content like Ranking of Fighters/Demo Derby/Game Tapes seeming to no longer be a thing, I'm probably going to cancel my premium. Everything is so stupidly politicized that people don't realize that it is objectively the best time to be alive in almost every region on earth. People concerned with the environment ignore all the positive environmental stories coming out, such as the evidence that the Ozone Layer hole is recovering. Use of clean energy is at the highest rate it has ever been, and is on a strong upward trend. People concerned with the PC-ification of society don't seem to realize that outside of the internet, the people actually insane enough to be weird SJW obsessed morons is VERY low. People complaining about white supremecy are in a similar boat, in that they're taking the Twitter accounts of insane racists as some sort of representation of society, when there has never been a better time to be a visible minority, or woman. If instead you mean "these people are fine, but I like the people at Job 1 better", then I would actually suggest taking Job 2. Life is short and you will only work a handful of jobs. That money will immediately benefit you, but it will also make it easier to get more pay at whatever your next job is, so if you plan on job hunting again 3-5 years from now, go with job 2. --- Advokaiser, my hat is off to you.
